Role Overview
The Recruiting Partner will lead full-cycle recruitment as the organization scales from 7 to 14 research generalists. The role is highly collaborative with technical leadership and focuses on building a top-tier AI research team aligned with safety goals.
Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruiting for AI research roles

Build and nurture relationships with ML and AI safety researchers

Develop evaluation frameworks and structured interview processes

Source talent via labs, companies, and technical communities

Strengthen Palisade’s presence on key platforms (e.g., 80,000 Hours, MATS Slack)

Track and optimize hiring funnel metrics

Partner with hiring managers to shape roles and processes
Requirements
-
3+ years experience recruiting for AI/ML research roles
-
Proven success in hiring senior research talent

Strong network in AI research communities
-
Demonstrated knowledge of AI safety challenges
-
Daily user of LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT) with a clear understanding of capabilities and limits
-
Background recruiting for labs or AI companies
-
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
-
Independent, self-directed, and results-driven
