About the Role

The Junior Data Analyst / Developer will support the Nature for Water Facility (N4W), which provides technical assistance and funding to local Watershed Investment Programs (WIPs). The analyst will help manage and expand N4W’s Program Intelligence system, which tracks data and delivers key insights to improve water resource management and conservation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage data pipelines using Python and SQL on Databricks.

  • Integrate, store, and process data collected through tools like Excel, KoboToolbox, and ArcGIS.

  • Create and update visualizations and dashboards using PowerBI and Tableau.

  • Support troubleshooting, bug fixing, and enhancements across the system.

  • Coordinate data visualization outputs tailored to funders, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Assist with analytics beginning in 2026, including bespoke analysis and insights development.

  • Potential travel (5–10%) to domestic or international field sites.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience

  • Experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI)

  • Proficient in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years in business intelligence, data engineering, or data science

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Experience managing large data projects and communicating findings

  • Project management experience

  • Spanish language skills
